The Sinharaja Rainforest
Which is Endowed With
High Biodiversity is a Tropical
forest.Many unique and
Endemic plants and
Animals can be found
here.In 1989 UNESCO
DECLARED IT AS
A WORLD HERITAGE
SITE.The Knuckles range and Horton Plains
are also world
Heritage sites.
Sinharaja
rainforest located within
Sabaragamuwa and southern
Provinces of the South-West lowland
Wet Zone of Sri
Lanka.On The North sinharaja
bounded by the
Napola Dola and
Ela ,river Kudawa ganga.To
The east of
sinharaja is an
ancien footpath Near
Beverly footpath near
Beverley Tea Estate
and by the
Denuwakanda.
The
totel area of the
Sinharaja forest Reserve
is 18,900 acres or
7,648 hectares.There are many
such places like
the sinharaja Rainforest.we have to
focus on their location.The Knuckles
mountain range and
Horton plains.
